One Stop Future Consultants

Data, AI, Software and Marketing, Built Properly

A UK consultancy building data, AI and software systems, and running the marketing on top of them. Four disciplines, one team, accountable for the outcome.

  • 01 We name the piece that is actually blocking you
  • 02 You own the code from the first commit
  • 03 Paid scoping before anyone commits

Built with

Power BI Azure Microsoft Fabric PostgreSQL Python TypeScript dbt Docker React Node.js Office.js Claude and OpenAI APIs Cloudflare nginx

Real problems cross the line between data, software and marketing, and we work on all three sides of it.

  • 01

A reporting problem is usually a data cleaning problem.

  • 02

A slow website is usually a deployment problem.

Working across the four lines means the diagnosis follows the evidence rather than the skills we happen to have on the bench.

We name the piece that is actually blocking the decision, and we price that piece first.

What we do

Four Things, Done Properly

Four categories, and genuine overlap between them. Most projects turn out to sit across two or three, which is the reason they were hard to buy anywhere else.

Not sure which one your problem is? Describe the decision that is waiting on it and we will tell you which piece to buy first. That conversation is free.

We are a consultancy working across data, AI, software and the infrastructure underneath them. One Stop Future Consultants Limited is registered in Ireland and works with clients in the UK, Ireland and further out.

Those four service lines sit together because the awkward projects live in the gaps between them. An AI project is usually blocked on data that lives in three systems which disagree, and settling that argument is data work before it is anything else.

Doing the whole thing means one team is accountable for whether it worked, which is the part that gets lost when a project is split across three suppliers.

What can be checked

Four Facts You Can Verify Today

Every figure below is checkable from a public register, from this page, or from code we can show you. A number you can check is worth more than a logo you cannot.

  • 2022 Incorporated 5 September 2022. Companies Registration Office, Dublin, number 725318.
  • Day one The repository is yours from the first commit, not on final payment.
  • 1 to 2 days Paid scoping, with a written assessment, before either side commits to a build.
  • Zero JavaScript frameworks sent to your users unless one earns its place. This site sends none.
  • The Microsoft stack is where most of the work is

Power BI semantic models and DAX, Azure data services, Fabric. That is the ground the data and BI page argues on, and the licensing arithmetic comes before the build.

  • Document engineering, with something to show

A Word task-pane add-in on Office.js, a DOCX processing service and a browser PDF editor. These are our own projects, so we can show you the code and how the awkward parts were handled.

  • This site is the work sample

Three domains from one codebase, no JavaScript bundle on any page, self-hosted subset fonts, and a style guide you can read. Judge the engineering by the thing you are reading it on.

  • An Irish company serving the UK

That is on the invoice and in the footer rather than buried. It means EU data residency where you need it, and one entity doing the work rather than a chain of subcontractors.

Every claim on this page is checkable before you speak to us, which is the standard we would want applied to anybody quoting for this work.

How it is bought

Three Ways People Buy This

Most projects sit across two or three of the four categories, which is the awkward part when you try to buy them separately. These are the three combinations that come up most often. Each is priced as its parts, not as a package with a number on it.

  • Build and grow

    Sell online properly

You are launching a store, or you have one that takes orders and nothing else works the way it should.

E-commerce development for the store and the custom apps behind it, e-commerce SEO for the category pages that actually rank, conversion rate optimisation where the traffic already arrives, and PPC while the organic work takes effect. Integrations join it to stock and accounts, and dashboards reconcile the revenue against the bank.

    • E-commerce build
    • E-commerce SEO
    • CRO
    • PPC
    • Integrations
    • Dashboards
  • Implement and report

    Dynamics, properly reported

The platform is going in, or it went in, and nobody can get a number out of it that agrees with finance.

Dynamics consulting that configures before it customises, API integration for the systems Dynamics does not hold, data engineering for the pipeline underneath, and Power BI for the reports people actually open. The upgrade cost of every customisation is stated before it is built.

    • Dynamics 365
    • Integrations
    • Data engineering
    • Power BI
  • Fix the foundation

    Reporting you can defend

Two systems disagree about the same customer, and the monthly pack takes three days to produce.

Data quality first, because modelling dirty data produces confident nonsense, then data engineering for pipelines that fail loudly and replay cleanly, then Power BI or dashboard design built around a decision rather than around every field available.

    • Data quality
    • Data engineering
    • Power BI
    • Dashboards

Each of these is quoted as its parts rather than as a package with one number on it. You can buy a single piece, take the whole shape, or stop after any stage, and the pricing stays the same either way. Tell us the decision that is waiting and we will say which pieces it actually needs.

How it runs

How a Project Actually Goes

Four stages, each producing something you can use on its own.

  1. 01

    You describe the decision

Not the technology. The decision that is stuck, or the process that is costing somebody a day a week. The right tool falls out of that.

  2. 02

    Paid scoping

One to two days. You get a written assessment with options and real numbers against each.

  3. 03

    Build

You get the repository from the first commit, not on final payment. Work is visible while it happens.

  4. 04

    Handover

Documented, with the decisions written down. If you never call us again, the thing still works and somebody else can maintain it.

Money

How We Charge

Paid scoping, then fixed.

Most work starts with a paid scoping session of a day or two, producing a written assessment of what exists, what the options are, and what each costs. After that it is a fixed price against a defined deliverable, or a day rate for open-ended work, with billing tied to the changes actually shipped.

You can take the assessment elsewhere

The scoping document is yours. If you have somebody cheaper build from it, that is a legitimate outcome and it has happened. We would rather that than a project of the wrong shape.

Our commitments

What You Can Count On

Six things we hold to on every engagement. They are the reason clients come back, and they are worth checking against anybody else you are considering.

  • Four disciplines, deliberately

Data and BI, AI and LLM applications, software and infrastructure, and the search and paid work measured on top of them. Deep in four rather than shallow in twelve, which is what lets one team own a problem that spans them.

  • Defined work, finished

We take a scoped deliverable and complete it, with the accountability for whether it works sitting on our side rather than yours. That is a different purchase from hiring hands, and it is the one we are built for.

  • Business hours, named engineer

The person who scoped your work supports it, during a working day you share, with a runbook that lets your own team handle the routine parts without calling anyone.

  • Security as engineering practice

Authentication, authorisation, tenant isolation, encryption and a code review before anything ships. Where you want the suite that proves it, software testing is offered in its own right.

  • Independent of every vendor

No partner tier, no licence resale, no commission from anybody. It is why we will point you at a product you can buy instead of a project you would pay us for, and why the tool recommendation follows your data.

  • One workstream, in order

Work runs sequentially, each piece shipped and useful before the next begins. That is what keeps every stage stoppable and every invoice tied to something already working.

Practicalities

What UK Clients Ask First

The questions that arrive before the technical ones, answered without needing a call.

If your question is not here, it is probably a good one, so send it.

You are an Irish company. Does that complicate working with a UK business?
In practice, no. Same time zone, same working day, English throughout, and one hour's flight if a meeting genuinely has to happen in a room. Contracts are with One Stop Future Consultants Limited, registered in Dublin, and invoices are issued in euro. If your procurement process needs paperwork we have not mentioned, ask before scoping rather than after.
Do you quote in pounds?
We quote in pounds so the figure means something, and invoice in euro because there is a single Irish entity behind all three of our sites. The euro figure is written into the scoping document, so nothing shifts between the quote and the invoice.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit. The repository sits in your account and we work inside it, which means you can take the work elsewhere mid-project, and knowing that is most of what keeps us honest about progress.
We have an in-house team already. How does that work?
Best when we take a defined piece your team is not going to get to, finish it, and hand it over documented enough for them to own afterwards. Your tech lead keeps the architecture, we carry the accountability for the piece we scoped, and the boundary between the two is written down before anything starts.
Can you take over a project somebody else started?
Often, and always after a paid review first. Reading the codebase is what turns an estimate into a real number, and the review tells you honestly whether it is repairable or whether starting again is cheaper. Either answer is useful and it arrives in writing.
What about GDPR and where our data sits?
We are an EU company, so EU data residency is the default rather than a premium option. Where data genuinely cannot leave your estate, models and pipelines can run on infrastructure you control. Your own advisers set the compliance position and we build the architecture note that evidences it.
How does the paid scoping actually work?
One or two days. You get a written assessment: what exists, what the options are, and a real number against each. It is yours to take elsewhere, that has happened, and it beats a project that was the wrong shape from the start.

Tell Us What Is Stuck

Describe the problem rather than the solution you had in mind, and we will tell you which piece to buy first and what it costs.
